CARDET, in collaboration with the Cyprus Pedagogical Institute of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports and Youth, organised the Cyprus Education Summit 2021, “Digital Transformation and Digital Skills”. The event took place at the 3rd of December 2021.
The Cyprus Education Summit is an annual event that seeks to foster an in-depth exploration and analysis of key themes, trends, and opportunities across all aspects of education and training. The Summit serves as a space to foster mutual learning and synergy building among local and international practitioners, researchers, and policymakers facilitating knowledge sharing, policymaking, and improving education across the region.
The aim of this year’s conference was to present, explore and analyse data, developments, and opportunities in the field of education through digital transformation, and the overall development of digital skills. Experts, researchers and highly acclaimed professionals from the field were invited to take part in the conference with insightful presentations and speeches.
The afternoon session focused on the STEAM Educational Approach and its application to school education and the classroom. During this session the CPI team presented the ATS STEM project, the underlying theoretical model, and examples of good practices from piloting schools.
