About

The Dirección Xeral de Educación, FP e Innovación Educativa holds responsibility in Galicia, among others, for the educational curricula, standards and the training and development of the schools’ staff for pre-university level as well as the inspectorate body for all schools and VET. The Education Department works with educational institutions on the implementation of regional initiatives to meet school improvement objective. It supports and contributes to innovation in teaching, learning and school leadership. The department also has a strategic plan for promotion of STEM in schools.

Goals

Participation in the project will help boost visibility of the institution’s STEM framework and its approach towards introducing the framework at all educational levels (teaching-learning process, curricula, CPD, and dissemination) in schools of Galicia, Spain.
