About

The University of Santiago de Compostela (USC) is a research university with a long-standing academic tradition built on scientific innovation, social engagement and internationalization. The University was founded in 1495 and is one of the oldest academic institutions in Spain.

The educational technology group of the University of Santiago has more than twenty years of experience in research, transfer and innovation in the use of technology in education. They are involved in eLearning, inclusion and equity through technology, ICT teacher training programmes and dealing with educational challenges to the social transformation of ICT. They have participated in several national and international (Erasmus+; LLP, Comenius, Grundvig) projects and are a part of several renowned scientific networks.

Goals

In ATS-STEM, the educational technology group is responsible for WP5 and will carry out the design and evaluation of the pilot testing process. Additionally, the USC will monitor the activities of WP1, WP2, WP3 and WP4 to ensure that the evaluation methodology and protocol are in line with the other activities of the project. The USC will develop evaluation tools, collect and analyse data from these pilot schools and draw conclusions from the research.
